On the occasion of the Feast of Santa Marija, which is being celebrated this month in the Cathedral of Gozo, the Vigil of Santa Marija was held on Wednesday, the first day of Pentecost.

The statue of Santa Marija was taken out of the main door door of the Cathedral and between the Marian hymns passages were read from the Bull of Indiction with which Pope Francis announced the Ordinary Jubilee of the Year 2025 – Pilgrims of Hope.

After these thoughts, a Pontifical Concelebration was held, led by Mons. Bishop Anton Teuma with the participation of the Chapter and the Clergy of the Cathedral.
