The Ghajnsielem Local Council has welcomed the announcement of a public consultation process to carry out a partial review of the 2006 Gozo and Comino Local Plan.

The Planning Authority has proposed that the area known as ‘Ta’ Passi’ where Bethlehem f’Ghajnsielem takes place is transformed into a recreational area and park all year round.

The Council said it has been requesting for this revision for many years and expressed its thanks to the Planning Authority and the Minister for Gozo and Planning for formally starting this process.
