A 26-year old man from Munxar sustained grievous injuries after falling the height of around one storey from scaffolding.

Police said that the accident happened at around 4pm on Friday afternoon, while the man was working on a property in Kappillan Guzeppi Hili Street, Fontana, Gozo.

The man was taken to the Gozo General Hospital.

Police investigations are ongoing as are those by the Occupational Health and Safety Authority.
