The Ramblers Association of Malta have spoken out against the development of a winery that was allowed on previously completely virgin land in an ODZ area in the outskirts of Rabat, Malta. They said that it is, “an example of the constructions that MEPA are allowing on pristine countryside.”
The Ramblers Association said that this application for a winery was accepted and approved by MEPA on the 3rd of March 2008.
The completely virgin status of the land can be seen on the MEPA orthophoto.
