Next month, the 6th edition of Kantamaghna – A Singers’ Festival is being presented by DCapitals Big Band is at the Teatru Astra in Victoria.
This year, the festival will be presented in a new format, with two festivals in one night.
There will be Kantamaghna Junior for singers aged 11-15 and Kantamaghna Festival for singers aged 16 to 35.
The finalists will be accompanied with a live 18-piece big band under the direction of Mro George Apap.
The overall winner of the festival will be given a one year experience with the band, together with the opportunity of singing with the band in numerous appointments locally and abroad.
All category winners and runners up will be presented with trophies.
The festival is taking place on Saturday, the 18th of January, starting at 7.30pm and seating is on a first come first served basis. Entrance is free of charge.
