Ryanair has today announced its Summer 2025 growth plans for Malta, which include two new routes to Glasgow and Rzeszow (Poland), a new (8th) Malta-based Boeing “Gamechanger” aircraft ($100m investment), as well as increased frequencies on 18 existing routes.
To celebrate Ryanair’s 8th Malta based B737 Gamechanger and the launch of two new Summer routes, Ryanair has launched a seat sale with fares from just €24.99 available only at ryanair.com
The airline said that the “record-breaking schedule will grow Ryanair’s Malta traffic by 11% in 2025 to over 4.9m pax and will see Ryanair’s Malta-based fleet increase to 8x B737 aircraft. This growth represents an investment of $800m, and supports over 4,200 local jobs, including 30 new highly paid pilot and cabin crew jobs, driving year-round tourism growth for Malta’s island economy.”
Additionally, Ryanair said it is reinforcing its long-term commitment to Malta, with “significant investments such as a state-of-the-art 1-bay maintenance facility and the expansion of Ryanair Office in Malta, which aims to double the number of Ryanair highly skilled professionals on the island.”
