Preparations for the 12th edition of “Il-Kuncert tal-Milied 2009” featuring the Chorus Urbanus are well under way.
This year’s concert is being held in St. George’s Basilica, Victoria, on Sunday, the 20th of December 2009, starting at 8.00pm.
The Island Brass Ensemble will this year be accompanying the choir. Both ensemble and choir will be under the musical direction of Dr John Galea, musical director of the Chorus Urbanus.
The official poster for this year’s edition of the concert was designed by George Borg Jr.
Entrance to the concert is free of charge, however, as in previous years, during the concert a special collection will be held in aid of Arka Respite Centre of Ghajnsielem.
