The Malta Council for Economic and Social Development said that at the last meeting of the Gozo Regional Council (GRC), together with the Minister for Health and Active Ageing Jo Etienne Abela and the Chief Executive of the Gozo General Hospital, Carmen Ogilvie Galea, discussed the “concrete and clear” proposals for the Gozo General Hospital

The members of the Committee put forward their proposals and suggestions on the future for a modern health system in Gozo, said the MCESD.

The Health Minister said that the discussion on the plans and vision for the development of the Gozo General Hospital “testifies to the Government’s firm determination to accelerate the health sector in Gozo.”

The GRC is also represented in the MCESD, which is crucial for the voice of Gozo to be heard at a national level, said the Council.
