Over 95,000 tourists visited Gozo in February, up 23.5% on 202495,450 tourists visited Gozo during February, including both same-day (91,600) and overnight (3,850) or 45.4% of total tourists for the Maltese Islands (210,305). The figure was also an increase of 23.5% on the same period last year, the National Statistics Office said today.

The number of tourists visiting Gozo in January and February, including both same-day and overnight visitors, totalled 186,690, or 46.2% of total tourists (404,463), the NSO said.

On a national basis, total inbound tourists for January were estimated at 210,305, an increase of 24.2% when compared to the corresponding month in 2024.

Total nights spent amounted to 1,237,182, with the average length of stay of 5.9 nights.

British, Polish and Italian residents made up 46.8% of total inbound tourists, the NSO said.

The largest share of guest nights (90.0%) was spent in rented accommodation establishments.

The NSO noted that total tourism expenditure for February was estimated at €146.8 million, up 28.2% over last year, resulting in an expenditure of €118.7 per night.
