The Uliedna/My Child portal, a new service through which parents and guardians of children can source through a central location, all educational services from birth to 18 years in one place.

Launched by Education Minister Clifton Grima, he said that “this is a service that we have long been working on, because we are aware of the practical challenges that parents and legal guardians face who have needs for educational and sports services, as well as health, cultural and transport, which are often scattered far and wide. That is why we started this initiative to gather everything in one central portal.”

He went on to explain that initially this portal will focus on educational services, but will gradually expand to other areas, including health, culture and transport. “In this way we are strengthening parents and legal guardians, but we are also supporting our students and children,” said the Minister.

The portal facilitates the way of finding information through access based on age groups (0-18) with quick and personalised information. Apart from this, the portal also takes care of reminding those who will start using it on deadlines and applications, including regarding school transport, vaccination schedules, dates of cultural activities and other areas.
