Housing market activity in Gozo, remains slow with another drop seen in May as the island registered the lowest figures for final deeds of sale at 137, which was down on last month and on last year.

The National Statistics Office data released today revealed however that promise of sale agreements totalled 199, which was up on April, and also on May last year.

The NSO noted that 137 final deeds of sale on residential property were registered in Gozo during May, which was the lowest of all the districts. This was down by 5 on April, and by 19 on May 2024.

Promise of sale agreements in the Gozo and Comino District registered 199, up by 30 agreements on April, and by 88 on May last year.
