National Statistics Office latest data show that registered full-time employment totalled 294,249 in February, an increase of 3.5% over February 2024.

Part-time as a primary job amounted to 34,989, an increase of 5.9% when compared to the same period last year.

The NSO noted that private sector full-time employment went up by 3.4% over a period of one year reaching 240,275. Public sector full-time employment increased by 3.8% since February 2024, totalling 53,974.

As compared to February 2024, full-time employment for males went up by 3.0% amounting to 177,453, while that for females increased by 4.2% reaching 116,796, said the NSO.
