Prime Minister Robert Abela has said that Budget 2026 will be presented on Monday, the 27th of October. He made the announcement during a Labour Party activity on Saturday evening in Kennedy Grove, Salini.

The Prime Minister said that where other countries in Europe are implementing measures of austerity, Malta is in a position to continue to give more.

“We want to give another strong signal in favour of families. We will also give this strong signal for the Maltese family in the Budget. And I give you a guarantee that every measure that we have introduced so far will not only be maintained, but we will strengthen it. You will see new initiatives – and we can implement them because we have a strong economy. This country has continued to move forward with a united and strong Government in favour of the Maltese,” stated the Prime Minister.
