Data released by the National Statistics Office today show that registered full-time employment totalled 295,995 in May, an increase of 3.9% over May 2024.

Part-time as a primary job amounted to 35,696, an increase of 5.4% when compared to the same period last year.

The NSO noted that private sector full-time employment went up by 3.9% over a period of one year reaching 241,765.

Public sector full-time employment increased by 4.3% since May 2024, totalling 54,230.

As compared to May 2024, the NSO said that full-time employment for males went up by 3.6% amounting to 178,232, while that for females increased by 4.5% reaching 117,763.
