Sir M. A. Refalo Sixth Form in Victoria welcomed the Europe Direct Gozo office for a special talk delivered to students from Istituto Lorenzo Lotto, Trescore Balneario, Bergamo, Italy on the theme – Cultural Diversity and European Identity.
Gozo Business Chamber’s CEO Daniel Borg spoke about the coexistence of cultures, languages, and traditions in today’s Europe.
He highlighted the Maltese context, addressing the growing presence of non-local employees, the challenges and importance of integration, and the many opportunities that cultural diversity brings.
Daniel Borg, concluded his intervention by encouraging the youth to become “ambassadors of dialogue by engaging, learning, and participating in similar intercultural events.”
