National Statistics Office data released today show that registered full-time employment totalled 297,338 in June, an increase of 4.2% over June 2024.

Part-time as a primary job amounted to 35,384, an increase of 5.5% when compared to the same period last year.

The NSO noted that private sector full-time employment went up by 4.2% over a period of one year reaching 242,940.

Public sector full-time employment increased by 4.3% since June 2024, totalling 54,398.

As compared to June 2024, the NSO said that full-time employment for males went up by 3.9% amounting to 178,929, while that for females increased by 4.6% reaching 118,409.
