Almost 47,000 guests stayed in Gozo accommodation during Q3

Latest data from the National Statistics Office today has revealed that during the third quarter of this year, total guests in Gozo collective accommodation increased by 19.9% to 46,780 on the same period last year, while nights increased by 12.4% to 148,748.
In Gozo, the NSO noted that the average length of stay decreased to 3.2 nights.
The net occupancy rate in Gozo decreased by 0.3 percentage points to 64.6% during the same period.
On a national basis, total guests in collective accommodation establishments during the third quarter amounted to 782,220, up by 6.0% reported in the corresponding period of 2024.
Total nights spent during the period under review reached 3,870,600 an increase of 6.0% over last year.
The NSO noted that during July-September, the largest share of guest nights (48.6%) was reported in 4-star hotels.
Net use of bed-places in the second quarter of this year decreased by 0.3 percentage points, when compared to the same quarter of 2024, to 80.4%.
