Gozo concert to mark 51st anniversary of Republic Day

On Sunday, Gozo will be celebrating the 51st anniversary of Malta becoming a Republic with a concert performed by the La Stella Philharmonic Band in Independence Square, Victoria, starting at 7pm.
On the 13th of December 1974, the Maltese Constitution was amended and Malta became a Republic, having Sir Anthony Mamo as its first President. Activities marking this historic date take place every year.
No reservations are required. Seating will be provided under the large marquee set up for the occasion, on Sunday, the 14th of December.
