The Bethlehem f’Ghajnsielem Nativity Village will be welcoming visitors today – Christmas Day – with an animated edition.

This unique event attracts thousand of visitors from both home and abroad, to experience the truly magical Nativity Village.

It is spread over 20,000sqm of land, and seeks to replicate, the atmosphere and environs of Bethlehem at the time when Jesus Christ was born over 2000 years ago.

As in previous years, Bethlehem in Ghajnsielem will offer a mix of local traditions and crafts along with everything that we generally associate with the traditional Maltese nativity scene.

The main attraction for visitors to the Nativity Village is of course the Grotto, with the Baby Jesus in the loving arms of Mary and with Joseph by her side.

The Nativity Village will be animated during the following dates and times:

Thursday 25th, 4.00pm – 7.00pm

Friday 26th, 2.30pm – 7.00pm

Saturday 27th, 4.00pm – 7.30pm

Sunday 28th, 3.00pm – 7.00pm

JANUARY 2026

Thursday 1st, 3.00pm – 7.00pm

Friday 2nd, 3.00pm – 7.00pm

Sunday 4th 2.30pm – 7.00pm (Adoration of the Magi).
