This coming weekend Malta Public Transport said that it is increasing bus service frequencies for the expected increase in passenger demand during the Nadur Carnival celebrations.

Between the 13th and 15th of February, special services will be introduced, including direct routes from Victoria to Nadur, as well as shuttles between Mgarr Ferry and Nadur with each scheduled ferry arrival, as well as late-night services to Gozo localities.

Late night return services will be provided to all localities in Gozo on routes 801 to 806.

Dedicated Carnival routes will run from Nadur to:

Xaghra and Marsalforn

Xewkija, Sannat, Munxar and Xlendi

Kercem and Santa Lucija

San Lawrenz, Gharb, Ghasri and Zebbug

Ghajnsielem and Mgarr, as well as Qala

All personalised Tallinja Card holders can travel free of charge on Day, Night, and Special Services. Passengers without a valid Tallinja Card can purchase cash tickets at €3 per trip from the bus ticket machine on special and night services.
