Europe Direct Gozo participates in Network of Networks meeting

Europe Direct Gozo has participated in the first Network of Networks meeting of the year, organised by Servizzi Ewropej f’Malta together with Europe Direct Valletta.
The meeting brought together EU national contact points and information providers from across Malta to strengthen collaboration and coordination.
During the meeting, Jesmond Buttigieg, Manager of Europe Direct Gozo, presented plans for Europe Day Gozo 2026, which will once again be organised in collaboration with the Ministry for Gozo and Planning as part of the popular Spring Fair at the Villa Rundle Gardens, Victoria.
The event is currently planned for Saturday, the 9th of May, coinciding with Europe Day, and will bring together European information networks, local organisations, schools and the wider community in an open and interactive environment.
Several EU networks and organisations are expected to participate, including Servizzi Ewropej f’Malta, the European Commission Representation in Malta, the European Parliament Liaison Office, the EU Programmes Agency, EURES, SOLVIT Malta, Creative Europe, and others.
The Gozo office said that the event will also include educational and awareness initiatives with Gozitan schools, in collaboration with partners such as GLOBE Malta, EkoSkola / Nature Trust Malta, Agenzija Zghazagh, focusing on sustainability, environmental awareness and European cooperation.
Europe Direct Gozo concluded by saying that it looks forward to working closely with the different European networks and partners to make Europe Day Gozo 2026 another vibrant event for the Gozitan community.
