Part of the work of the Diaconia Office within the Diocese of Gozo is to sensitise the Christian community in favour of institutions that work with vulnerable people or depend heavily on donations for their work.

The Diocese explained that in addition, the same Office sees that when there are international emergencies, such as in the case of natural disasters or humanitarian crises, the Christian community responds generously to the help that is being requested.

During the year 2025, the Diocese of Gozo collected and distributed €174,751.70 aid to local and international institutions, thanks to the generosity of the Gozitan people.

In addition to these shown below, there were other collections that, with the permission of the Diocese, were made by other entities (including the Major Seminary and Missio Malta), and whose figures are not included in this list.
