An international celebration for Easter is being held at St Joseph Parish Church, Qala next Saturday, the 20th of March.
This ecumenical, socio-cultural event is entitled “Gozo International Celebration – Easter Edition 2010,” marking the theme “In Thy Hands.”
The celebration will be between 6.30 and 8.00pm and is a welcoming occasion for all foreign nationals residing in or visiting Gozo and all are warmly invited to attend.
Gozitan artist Anthony Caruana will participate throughout the evening. Performances will take place by The Joy Gospel Singers, Organist Robert Buhagiar, The Magnificat Choir, soprano Ruth Portelli, soprano Patricia Buttigieg and pianist Matthew Tabone.
The evening will conclude with a reception at the Bishop Mikiel F. Buttigieg Hall, 28 April 1688 Street in Qala.
