A 76-year old man died this morning after falling off a ladder at his residence in Sannat, Gozo.

The Police said that the accident happened at around 7.45am in Ta’ Cenc Street. The man was working on a ladder when he fell down around three storeys into an internal yard.

A medical team that went to the scene certified the man dead on site.

Magistrate Jean Paul Grech has appointed an inquiry.

Police investigations are ongoing.
