Enemalta has said that the repaired high-voltage cable on Comino is ”now back online, bringing all three high-voltage cables supplying Gozo back into service.”

Power had been off across the island for up to 26-hours in some localities.

Enemalta added that the electricity supply is ”now being restored across Gozo following the completion of the repair works.”

”A sincere thank you goes to our technical teams who worked through long hours and intense heat to get the repairs completed. In the meantime, technical teams remain deployed to address any localised issues that may still arise,” Enemalta said.
