On the occasion of the 31st anniversary of Freedom Day, the National and Regional Celebrations Committee within the Ministry for Gozo, held a concert and a commemorative ceremony at Independence Square in Victoria, Gozo.

The activity was presided by The Minister for Gozo, Giovanna Debono. The Minister laid flowers beneath a commemorative plaque. This was followed by a concert given by the Malta Police band.

The Maltese National Anthem brought the ceremony to its end.
