Hundreds of people on Friday, April the 23rd greeted the image of Our Lady of Ta’ Pinu when it was returned to the National Shrine in Gharb after having been taken to Malta for the Papal Mass on the granaries in Floriana.

Archbishop Paul Cremona led the Mass outside Ta’Pinu with the Apostolic Nuncio Archbishop Tommaso Caputo, Gozo Bishop Mario Grech and Bishops Nikol Cauchi, Annetto Depasquale, Pawlu Darmanin and Archbishop Guzeppi Mercieca.

President George Abela and Prime Minister Lawrence Gonzi led the congregation.
