The National Household Travel Survey is due to be held on Wednesday, the 26th of May 2010, which is the National Household Travel Day.

The purpose of this survey is to get a better understanding of people’s travel needs in Malta and Gozo and to identify opportunities for improving the overall transport system.

The result of the 2010 National Household Travel Survey (NHTS2010) is of critical importance to help guide various major reforms currently underway with respect to the overall transport system in Malta, including the final preparation for the public transport reform.
