The National Youth Council (KNZ) has said that it is currently collaborating closely with their European counterparts in order to ensure that the suspension period in the Youth in Action (YIA) programme communicated by the Commission, is as brief as possible. Alternatives to the provision of YIA programme are being sought by the KNZ.

KNZ concluded by saying that it is aware that this situation is causing difficulties to organisations, youths and students and they urge all the concerned authorities to find a swift solution to this problematic situation.
