Some months ago, the Xaghra Local Council invested in new play area equipment for children, which have now been installed in the play area in front of Ta’ Kola Windmill. This was done in order to increase the recreational spaces for families, particularly for those having young children.

This new equipment complements those in the locality’s main playing field which is situated at the beginning of 8th September Avenue.

The Xaghra Local Council has also concluded the tendering process for the construction of a new belvedere in Church Street and it is waiting for the finished technical report of the architect to begin this work.
