Seven Local Councils in Gozo, Gharb, Kercem, Munxar, Nadur, San Lawrenz, Xaghra and Victoria, are benefiting from a scheme launched by Central Government.

This scheme is aimed at financing projects which lead to the restoration of niches and other small historical places which can be found in several localities around Gozo. Between the seven localities they will be restoring 12 niches, two crosses and a statue

The funds were awarded to the Local Councils on Tuesday in the Visitation Square, Gharb by Parliamentary Secretary, Chris Said.
