The Malta College of Arts, Science and Technology said recently that it has once again registered an overall increase in new applications for its full-time courses, superseding the growth registered last year.

They said that as targeted, the Institute of Business and Commerce, which offers a variety of courses in Business and Finance, registered a significant rise in the number of applications. A similar growth pattern was experience by the Institute of Community Services which delivers courses in Science, Social Care, Beauty, Sports and Hairdressing. Other institutes that registered an increase in applications were the Institutes of Agribusiness, Art and Design, Maritime, Mechanical Engineering as well as the Gozo Centre.

The College will be issuing a second call for applications in September. During this second call the College is targeting a further increase for courses in Applied Science and Electrical and Electronics Engineering particularly the newly launched Diploma in Green Energy Technologies, and a number of other courses.
