The Xewkija Local Council organised the annual Animal Show 2010, which was held recently in the village

For this years’ show there were about twenty five horses, around fifty sheep and thirty five dogs, which had been entered into several categories according to the breed, etc.

At the end of the show, Xewkija Mayor, Dr Monica Vella and Councillor Mr Teddy Mizzi presented the trophies to the winners of all the categories. All participants who entered the show were presented with trophies.
