As part of the European Week for Waste Reduction, the Xaghra Local Council are organising a Car Boot Sale, to be held in Victory Square.

This sale will be held on Sunday, the 21st of November 2010 between 9.00am and 1.00pm. Those who wish to take part will be requested to pay a nominal registration fee. With the funds collected, the Council will publish educational material about the importance of waste separation and reduction, recycling, cleaning etc.

Those interested in participating during this event are kindly requested to contact the Local Council’s administrative offices on 21563737 or send an e-mail on xaghra.lc@gov.mt by not later than Saturday the 13th November of 2010.
