The Directorate for Projects and Development and the Directorate for Eco-Gozo & Regional Development within the Ministry for Gozo wish to inform you that a number of courses on the use of pesticides will be held during the months of November and December. All courses will be held at the Government Experimental Farm in Xewkija and the first course will start on Monday the 22nd of November between 6.00pm and 7.30pm. The number of courses will vary according to applicants.
Courses will be led by Dr Antoine Vella, lecturer at the University of Malta who is also authorised by the Malta Standards Authority to conduct such courses. This course will consist of six lectures and a test. A certificate will be handed to all applicants. This certificate is valid as supporting requirement for the license to handle pesticides issued by the Malta Standards Authority.
Those interested in attend these courses are invited to send or hand in their details at the IACS Office, Government Farm, Xewkija Gozo between 8.00a.m and 11.30am and from 1.00pm to 3.30pm or phone on 2215 6971 by not later than Tuesday the 30th of November, 2010. Applications can also be submitted by email to anthony.b.muscat@gov.mt.

So now the eco-gozo turns into organising courses for farmers on the use of pesticides rather than on organic and its healthy method of implementing it.
Next joke please….
