May I ask: To which ‘Authorities’ will these results be forwarded to?

At Qala if I can recollect my memory right in 2002 a referendum was held and 85% of the Qala residents voted against. For what. Wasn`t this enough?????????

The current government still did not scrap the application. Even more did not listen to the majority of the Qala residents.

I would say they are probably referring to MEPA Victor who will no doubt have the final say in whether or not a new factory is built, no matter what the people say. MEPA will no doubt say that this in not a legally binding vote but simply a consultative referendum and therefore means nothing in the same way as the vote taken by the residents of Qala against the proposed Hondoq marina project was dealt with. What’s the point of asking the people what they want if you are going to ignore what they say?
