Melita has announced that due to broadcasting rights restrictions imposed by the new channel owners, Melita has been forced to cease the broadcast of Living TV with immediate effect.

With immediate effect, all Melita L and XL subscribers can enjoy Melita More for free. This channel broadcasts top international TV series including Desperate Housewives, Glee, True Blood, Lie to Me, Gossip Girl as well as the all time classics including West Wing, ER, Full House and Days of Our Lives.

Melita More will also premiere new international series including the critically acclaimed series and Golden Globe nominated HBO hit-series Boardwalk Empire by executive producers Martin Scorsese and Mark Wahlberg, in early 2011.

Melita said that throughout this year, it has increased its TV channel line-up to 150 channels including 15 high-definition channels with the recently launched ESPN America HD, Food Network HD and Sky News HD.
