Air Malta extra flight to Gatwick for stranded passengersHeavy snowfalls in the UK and Northern Europe have forced the closure of various European airports on Saturday and Sunday, and causing disruptions to flights schedules.

This morning all flights to the UK and Northern Europe have operated with slight delays and so far we have not experienced any flight cancellations. Air Malta will continue to update you on further developments.

Severe weather conditions in Brussels have constrained the airline to cancel its flight to Brussels KM420/1.

Air Malta flight to Paris KM466 has been rerouted to Lyons due to adverse weather condition at Paris Orly. The flight landed in Lyon at 1130 local time and it is expected to depart from Lyon to Paris Orly at 1715 local time.

Air Malta will be operating an extra flight KM3118/9 to London Gatwick. The flight departs from Malta at 1500 hours arriving in Gatwick at 1700 hours. KM3119 from London Gatwick will depart at 1800 hours arriving in Malta at 2200 hours. Air Malta passengers are kindly requested to exchange their flight tickets by calling the Call Centre on 0035621662211 or visiting our Sales Office at Malta International Airport.

Air Malta is offering a rescue fare of EUR126 inclusive of taxes to stranded passengers originally booked on Easy Jet or Ryan Air. The rescue fare is valid only for this evening KM3118 Malta to London Gatwick. Flight tickets can be booked via our Call Centre or our Sales Office at Malta International Airport.
