French Ta L-gharb was, and still is, considered as a Holy Man from the Island of Gozo, thousands of people used to go to him for cures and herbal remedies.
He never maintained that he was a healer himself, but instead said that Jesus and the Virgin Mother performed the miracles with the sick.
Fr Anthony Zammit has produced this video, which was made utilising old 8mm film and original voice recordings.
On the video you can watch this holy man of Gozo climbing the holy hill, which is situated opposite Ta’ Pinu’s Shrine, and can also hear his voice.
Fr Zammit has asked viewers to kindly make a donation for the poor in Peru, details on how to do so are shown at the end of the video.
