Melita has announced that as from next Tuesday, the 1st of February, Melita TV subscribers can tune in and watch brand new TV series on Melita More and a brand new channel exclusive to Melita, Sundance Channel, which will be available both in standard and High Definition.

Sundance Channel inspired by the Sundance Film Institute and Sundance Film festival offers audiences a selection of film, documentaries and original programs under the creative direction of Robert Redford featuring a number of A-list names including Forest Whitaker, Jeremy Irons, Laura Dern, Isabella Rossellini and Robert Downey Jr. This channel will be available to all XL Melita TV subscribers in standard definition on Channel 314, as well as all XL Melita HD TV subscribers in High Definition on Channel 331. Throughout February, all Melita digital TV subscribers will be able to enjoy a taste of Sundance Channel for free and as from 1st March 2011, Sundance Channel and Sundance Channel HD will be available on the XL and XL HD packages respectively.

The Melita More raft of international hit TV series is also increasing with 6 brand new series starting in February including BBC-produced car show, Top Gear as well as hit American series Supernatural formerly shown on Living TV, CBS comedy How I Met Your Mother as well as Chuck and Mike & Molly, series formerly featured on Comedy Central. Melita More is also premiering the brand new series, staring Hollywood A-lister comedian, William Shatner, $#*! My Dad Says. Melita More is available for free to all L and XL Melita TV subscribers.

In addition to the new content, Melita More already offers the very best of popular international series, including Lie to Me and The Mentalist on Mondays, Chase and Fringe on Tuesdays, Desperate Housewives, and True Blood on Thursdays, Glee and Gossip Girl on Fridays, 30 Rock on Saturdays and Brothers and Sisters on Sundays as well as daily daytime favourites like Days of Our Lives, ER and West Wing.

Throughout 2010, Melita has almost doubled its TV channel line-up to 150 channels including 15 high-definition channels such as Food Network HD, Sky News HD, ESPN America HD, Discovery HD Showcase, National Geographic HD, Nat Geo Wild HD, Luxe TV HD, iConcerts HD, History HD, FashionTV HD, MTVN HD, Eurosport HD, Stars HD and Melita Sports HD.
