The Feast of Don Bosco
The Feast of Don Bosco, patron saint of children and youths was celebrated at the Don Bosco Oratory in Victoria.
The Vicar General Mgr Giovanni Bosco Gauci, presided the High Mass during which he talked about the importance of a wholistic formation of the young and praised any investment in education by the State, the Church and the Civil Society.The Prime Minister Dr Laurence Gonzi led the congregation.
After the High Mass, pets were blessed by Fr George Mercieca, on St. Augustine’s Square. Pets included horses, ponies, dogs, cats, birds and many other species.
