The Gozo SPCA picked up Benjy, this lovely little scruffy yorkshire terrier cross, from Xlendi. He had been running around the area for a couple of months, but because the rehoming centre was full he had not been able to be taken in.

Benjy was given a bath yesterday, or, was it the other way around? He was brushed and combed and from under the dirt a very happy and handsome little dog emerged.

He was neutered today and is now ready for a loving home. The vet told the Gozo SPCA staff that he thinks he is about 3 to 4 years old and in good health.

If anybody thinks that they can help with a home for Benjy, or any of the other animals at the Gozo SPCA centre, then please email info@spca-gozo.org. You can also contact them on 21553769 and 99475199 or visit their website at: http://www.spca-gozo.org/.
