Calla was handed in with her sibling Cody, to the Gozo SPCA, by their owner in August 2009. Cody was eventually rehomed, Calla has been at the rehoming centre ever since.

She does get a bit excitable, but gets on really well with other dogs and children. Calla is now about 18 months old and she has been spayed. She will need to be house trained by her new owners.

The Gozo SPCA would really like Calla to have the chance of a loving home, her start in life was not a happy one and she has over time, with care and attention from the centre staff, gained her confidence to become a loving happy young dog. Until last week she was boarded with Mischief who has now been rehomed, however she has settled well to sleeping on her own.

If anybody thinks that they can help with a home for Calla, or any of the other animals at the Gozo SPCA centre, then please email info@spca-gozo.org. You can also contact them on 21553769 and 99475199 or visit their website at: http://www.spca-gozo.org/.
