Penitential walk to St Gregory parish church, Kercem.
A penitential walk recently left from Salvatore Busuttil square for St Gregory parish church in Kercem.
Leading the walk was Kercem parish priest Fr Brian Mejlak, who held the cross, accompanied by torch bearers Charlie and Joyce Hili and their children Cristiano, Katrina and Giuseppe.
Also taking part were Gozo Bishop, H.E. Mgr. Mario Grech, priests, religious and altar boys. A penitential celebration, including an address by Mgr Grech, was held at the parish church.
Mgr Grech spoke about sin and the catholics’ duty to observethe commandments, including falsehood and adultery.
