The locality of San Lawrenz, is known, among others for the Dwejra Fair (Il-Fiera tad-Dwejra). This fair has been held for many years and involves almost all the locality.

Preparations for this annual fair are now at their peak and the organisers of the fair said that as in previous years the fair offers entertainment for all the family. Together with the usual games, such as the lotteries for goats and gifts for the home and other innovative games. One of these is a new game in which men and women will be able to test their strength. Games for the children are always there, such as the balloon game, the soft toys game, Plinko, and others. This year there will also be a new game for youths

Another stand, which is a crowd puller, is the plant and herb stand, where items will be for sale.

The road down to Dwejra has recently been completed and everyone is warmly welcomed visit the fair and enjoy the lovely environment of this unique bay.

The fair is being held on Sunday, the 15th of May, from 10am. Organised parking will be available for the convenience of visitors.
