Air Malta's flight schedule not yet affected by ash cloudA volcanic ash cloud emitting from Grimsvötn volcano in Iceland is currently extending from Iceland, to northern parts England and some parts of Scandinavia. The ash cloud is causing some schedule disruptions for those flights operating in these areas. However, until now, the Air Malta flight schedule is not affected.

Air Malta said it is closely monitoring this evolving situation and is in touch with Aviation Authorities whilst monitoring data supplied by the UK MET Office and bulletins issued by the EASA (European Aviation Safety Agency).

Air Malta will continue to monitor the situation and will advise its passengers of any changes in its flight operations as a result of airspace disruptions.

The Maltese airline will be regularly updating its portal www.airmalta.com and Facebook page with the latest updates.
