The Labour Party leader, Dr Joseph Muscat ends a trip to localities in Gozo today with a visit to Xaghra. During his visit the Labour leader met with with residents, groups and societies in Zebbug, Marsalforn and Nadur.

Dr Muscat said during his visit that the “Labour Party views Gozo as an economic machine from which Malta can benefit.” He also said “how we cannot take the same approach to Gozo affairs as the Prime Minister and view the beautiful island as an entity which simply weighs us down.”

The Labour leader was accompanied on the trip by the Gozo Regional Committee deputies and Zebbug local councilors.
