Smiley and Chuckles are two very happy and friendly young dogs currently at the Gozo SPCA re-homing centre in Victoria.

Smiley, a mixed breed dog, shown in the top 2 photos, was found in Qbajjar. She is Smiley by name and by nature! She has a funny grin that she likes to show a lot, but also has a bashful side as seen in her other picture. She is very friendly and is about 5-6 months old.Smiley & Chuckles are waiting for homes at the Gozo SPCAChuckles, above, is a hound x fox terrier type puppy and is larger than Smiley, she is full of energy. Chuckles was found at Ghasri and is a very friendly and happy young dog. She is under 14 weeks old as she still has some of her milk teeth..

Smiley and Chuckles will be neutered and microchipped before re-homing and are more than ready for loving homes.

The Gozo SPCA currently has 16 dogs, 4 of which are puppies and 17 kitens at their rehoming centre in Victoria. All can either be re-homed straight away, or can be booked for the future if there is a delay for any reason.

How lovely to be able to visit Gozo and be in a position with Air Malta to bring a whole suitcase of cuddly toys to the SPCA to sell. The staff were so welcoming to us as a group and we got to feed the dogs and cats too.

The animal’s are so loving and beautiful If you could find it in your heart to adopt from them you will not be sorry. Any donation of food or bread to feed the dogs would be very welcome. Please note the best time to call them is morning.

Do go for a little visit, Val, Peter and staff will be so pleased to see you. They do such a beautiful job.

God Bless and may St Francis the Patron of all animals give you the courage to go on.

      Kind Regards,

Bishop Cornelius ORCC and Dr Helen UK
