Tomorrow, Thursday, the 22nd September, Moviment Graffitti said it is organising a symbolic vigil, in view of the United States’ declaration of intent to use its veto powers at the United Nations Security Council to block the recognition of Palestine as an independent state within the United Nations.

Moviment Graffitti said that this public activity is going to be held in front of the American Embassy at Ta’ Qali at 7.00pm. The public is invited to attend.

“This event is specifically aimed at expressing solidarity with the Palestinian people and to raise greater awareness on the brutality and violations of human rights that are being continuously experienced by the Palestinian people. The activity also calls on the United States to reconsider its position and embrace the statehood of Palestine as an independent state within the United Nations,” Moviment Graffitti concluded.
