The Malta College of Arts, Science and Technology (MCAST) is giving prospective students the final chance to apply for one of its 2011/2012 full-time courses beginning next month.
Applications for full-time courses will be received between Monday 26 and Wednesday 28 September, from 08:30hrs to 12:30hrs, at MCAST’s 10 institutes in Malta and the Gozo Centre in Xaghra. Over 2,900 prospective students have already applied to join MCAST during the first call for applications earlier this summer. This second opportunity will give students who have not yet enrolled with MCAST the chance to choose one of over 80 full-time courses beginning in October. It also gives students who have just received the results of exams they sat for in summer, and those who have already applied to join MCAST but wish to change their area of study, a second opportunity to submit their applications.
The full list of courses for which MCAST will be opening the second call for applications can be found on the College’s website www.mcast.edu.mt. The list features some of the programmes which are being offered for the first time, including the MCAST-BTEC Diploma in Fish Husbandry, the MCAST-BTEC Higher National Diploma in Photography, the MCAST Apprenticeship Diploma for Polymer Process Technicians and the Diploma in Hairdressing, one of the new courses at the Gozo Centre.
The second call for applications is also open to adult learners (aged 21 and over) who wish to take up a full-time course at MCAST under the Maturity Clause.
